Cactusville a gypsy jazz quartet's concert

About

Cactusville, a gypsy jazz quartet, invite you to a memorable evening full of ballads, Latin vibes and foot tapping swing tunes. We are back in the Bradford area with concerts in Thornton and Saltaire over the next few months.

The quartet specialise in the mellow side of jazz created by Stephane Grapelli and Django Reinhardt.

Formed from the ashes of previous bands Tcha! and Appel4, and featuring current members of The Yorkshire Gypsy Swing Collective, The 309s, and The Northern Star Organ Trio, the name derives from a bad joke mixing Thornton (“Thorn-town” - home of half the band) and the Django tune Belleville. Cactusville are: Ian Tothill (Violin), Rob Bromhead and Derek Magee (guitars), and Manny McKenzie (Double Bass).
