Enjoy free family film screenings every Wednesday throughout August at Darley Street Market. Presented by the City of Film team, the festival brings a selection of family favourites to the big screen in the Courtyard, with screenings running from 11:00 to 13:00. 

Film programme:

• Wednesday 5 August – Hoppers
  Join a young animal lover on a fun-filled adventure in this family-friendly animated film packed with humour, heart and plenty of surprises. 

• Wednesday 12 August – James and the Giant Peach
  Roald Dahl's much-loved story comes to life as James embarks on an unforgettable journey aboard a giant peach with a group of extraordinary insect friends. 

• Wednesday 19 August – The Lego Batman Movie
  Gotham's unlikely hero takes centre stage in this action-packed animated comedy, full of gadgets, laughs and LEGO® mayhem. A family-friendly silent disco will follow the screening.  After the screening, families can keep the fun going with a family-friendly silent disco in the Courtyard – look out for further details soon.

• Wednesday 26 August – Horton Hears A Who!
  Follow Horton the elephant as he sets out to protect a tiny hidden world in this colourful animated adventure based on the Dr Seuss classic.
