Three apples in a row.

About

BEES (Bradford Environmental Education Service) marks 25 years of Apple Day with its biggest celebration yet, set in the vibrant surroundings of Bowling Park Allotments.

This milestone event will feature a lively mix of entertainment and activities for all ages. Visitors can enjoy live music, explore a variety of stalls, and take part in children’s craft workshops throughout the afternoon.

Hands-On Fun A traditional apple press will be available for those who want to try making their own organic apple juice — a popular highlight of the day.

Delicious Food & Drink The café and food areas will be serving a tempting selection of savoury dishes, homemade cakes, and hot drinks to keep guests warm and satisfied.

Orchard Produce for Sale Seasonal treats from Bowling Community Orchard will be available to purchase, including:

  • A wide range of apple varieties

  • Fresh apple juice

  • Chutneys, jams, and dried apples

  • Other orchard-inspired delights

BEES Apple Day continues to celebrate local produce, community engagement, and the joy of autumn. This year’s event promises to be a memorable tribute to 25 years of orchard heritage.
