A fun-filled day of free family activities - these activities focus on the experiences of girls but are open to the whole family to attend. Most activities are designed for children age 5+ but you are welcome to attend with younger children. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

11:00 Storytime, ages 3+. Join us for a special International Women’s Day themed family storytelling with the City Library team (approx. 45 minutes)

12:00 – Fantastically Great Women, ages 5+. Come celebrate some Fantastically Great Women with author Kate Pankhust in this lively session and family draw-along. (approx. 45 minutes)

1.30-3.30pm - Zine of You, ages 5+. Use collage and colour to make a magazine exploring what matters to you with artist Rosie McAndrew.
