Two Rivers Wednesday Woodwinds

About

A varied evening of music for woodwind with pieces ranging from 16th century to the present day and a few surprises along the way.

We are all members of Two Rivers Concert Band, an Ilkley based community wind orchestra.

Our weekly woodwind group enjoys exploring the wide range of repertoire for different combinations of woodwind instruments.

Playing music together whether indoors, outdoors or even via Zoom has helped us to keep going through the difficult times of the last couple of years We are now delighted to have this opportunity to play for you.

Our programme will concentrate on quartets and quintets, but will include some duos and trios.

We will balance more serious music from the classical and renaissance periods with a selection of lighter contemporary pieces.

Flute: Alison Shaw, Angela Cox

Oboe: Vera Goldman

Clarinet: David Wilyman, Helen White, Laura Taylor

Bass clarinet: Les Goldman, Steph Atkinson
