The Washboard Resonators are a duo that have a full vaudevillian stage show mixing 1920s and 30s blues, jazz, ragtime, and swing.
They combine the influences of their favourite artists like Louis Armstrong, Fred Astaire, George Formby, The Washboard Rhythm Kings and Blind Boy Fuller into something new.
The band have played at major blues and jazz festivals, have recorded four albums, an EP at Sun Studios in Memphis, been inducted into the national archive at The British library as well as touring the UK twice a year to sold out audiences.
