About

Former tv presenter and broadcaster Melanie Sykes has been a familiar presence on our radios and televisions for 25 years. It's nearly two years since she received a diagnosis of autism and ADHD and has written about it in her book Illuminated: Autism & All The Things I Have Left Unsaid. Melanie charts her travels, her work and her relationships through this new lens. 

Melanie will be at the King's Hall stage talking about what it has meant to be both a woman in the media and what it means to be a neurodivergent person in a neurotypical world.
