Roberts Park River

Yep, it's been 50 years since our eyes and ears were introduced to the Swedish pop sensation that is ABBA and we fully intend to embrace this momentous occasion by going all out on the sequins and dancing queen platforms as we enjoy a late summer showing of Mamma Mia - The Movie, celebrating the hits we all adore through a love story playing out one timeless summer on a tiny Greek island.

Our projection and sound equipment has been upgraded to ensure our audience have the best possible viewing and listening experience and our food & drink traders have been prepped - expect the finest food and the quirkiest cocktails.

PRE-FILM:  Arrive early. As ever, Sneaky Experience provide more than just a movie.  Expect the most top-notch food & drink offering and we've only gone and booked our fav disco DJ to spin all our favourite ABBA tunes prior to settling down to watch the most exhilarating, sunniest and smiliest movie in the grounds of Roberts Park, Saltaire.

BAG CHECKS: For the safety of our audience, we'll be randomly checking bags as people arrive. We know this is standard at a lot of large venues now so please help our staff by being ready to let them have a peek inside. A good rule of thumb is to not take anything you wouldn't carry on to a plane (although soft drinks are fine.)

FANCY DRESS: If you’ve ever taken part in a Sneaky Cinema before, you’ll have seen many of our audience dress up; it’s not essential, but it really does add to the night. Don’t worry though, it’s not compulsory  and we will have walkabout glitteration stations so you can get sequinned up if you change your mind.

FOOD & DRINK: The Sneaky bar will be open before and during the film, serving a full selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including prosecco, wines, cocktails and soft drinks. Hot drinks will also be available from the bar.

As ever, we’re supporting local food traders, who source the finest products, providing ‘proper street food’ . Expect a selection of delicious dishes to suit all tastes. More on our traders to follow.

You are also welcome to bring your own picnics, including non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy with the film.

OPEN TIMES: Gates open at 6.30pm; the film starts just after sunset.

We'll see you dancing queens in the field.

We have a limited number of early bird tickets at a reduced price before the full price will kick in - hop on them whilst you can!
