A day workshop with Catherine Edwards, Leather Designer /Maker, learning to make a simple but beautiful pair of handsewn suede and felt slippers.

Each pair is super soft and comfortable as well as being incredibly warm. Make a pair for yourself or your loved one, to your own specified size with a choice of colours and finish.

We will cover a variety of simple techniques, from cutting, edging, soling and using the traditional Saddlers’ two handed sewing technique we will hand stitch your slippers together. The making process is completely supervised and takes place in a friendly environment making it suitable for beginners and improvers.

Everything is done entirely by hand using genuine leatherworking tools including vintage and antique pieces from the tutor’s own collection.
