A picture of people running in a race, outside

Take to the streets of Keighley with hundreds of runners on this 10k and 5k route to raise money for Sue Ryder's expert, compassionate end-of-life care.

The Keighley 10k & 5k are both challenging events at the start of the running season. The 10k follows a circular route through the paths, parks and roads of Keighley and the 5k route starts at the halfway mark.

All participants receive a bespoke Keighley 10k and 5k t-shirt. As the event takes place on Mother's Day, many people run or walk with their mum, for their mum or in memory of their mum.

Wheelchair participants are welcomed, though we do warn people considering this that it is a multi-terrain course and there will be tough sections. In one position in particular, a marshal has been briefed to give assistance if required.

There is no minimum fundraising target for this event, but we are incredibly grateful to those who raise sponsorship for our care. Raising £145 from your sponsorship could fund a Sue Ryder Nurse for a day.
