Feed Your Mind: Dear Bradford & Look At Us

About

Join us for a lunchtime screening session of Dear Bradford, by Vivek Vadoliya, and Look at Us by Hussina Raja.

Look at Us is a homage to those who came before us, and to the Pakistani diaspora who remain resilient in the face of adversity and prejudice in ‘Great’ Britain; Dear Bradford is a visual poem to Bradford that tells the story of a place through of an intergenerational migration and diasporic experience.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Look at Us’ director, Hussina Raja, and scriptwriter, Farrah Chaudhry, and Dear Bradford’s scriptwriter and main character Farhaan Mumtaz.

This event is part of the Bradford Literature Festival 2023.
