Legendary figure of the British folk scene Iain Matthews comes to King's Hall for an intimate evening to reflect on his 50 years in music alongside an acoustic set.
Iain Matthews first gained attention as a founding member and vocalist for the innovative Fairport Convention changing the voice of folk music. He also went on to further acclaim with his bands Matthew's Southern Comfort and Plainsong.
Iain will be taking a look back over his 50 years in the music business, his time recording in the US and how he has found his sweet spot as a solo artist touring the UK and the continent.
He comes to King's Hall, where he has performed with Fairport Convention throughout the 1970s to the 1990s for a special solo evening which will include an intimate acoustic set.
