Details

Join the Verba Arts for the Black Art Exhibition, showcasing Art inspired by Black culture and heritage in various forms by Artists from West Yorkshire.

The aim of the Verba is to showcase the artwork of local and regional artists whose work has been inspired by the African and Caribbean diaspora in British society. Culture, music, legacy, life experience and the contribution made to British society, recorded, archived, and artistically contained in one space. Artists also have the opportunity to be featured in our Magazine, The Verba, and interviewed on our Podcast. (Snippets, local voices) - In our Snippets section you will find audios recorded by local people. Our aim is to showcase the experiences of people within our community by capturing significant memories.

The exhibition features work by Mussadiq Haq (Muss), a Bradford born artist, and audio presentation of people from the community that have featured in the Snippets section.

There will be Carribean canapes and punch created by Alcohomist Punch
