Friends Of Ilkley Moor - Wildlife Identification Survey: Frogs & Toads

This event provides an introduction to the identification, ecology, surveying & conservation of Britain's frogs & toads. The event covers the identification, distribution & status of frogs & toads, relevant legislation, habitat requirements & threats to species survival.

In 2007 the Common Toad was added to the list of species of conservatioin concern, find out why and what you can do to help conserve this species.

Leader Tracy Gray, Booking is not needed. Equipment will be provided. The walk is easy to moderate with some uphill climbing with dogs welcome on leads.

The event will take people up to the upper tarn on Ilkley Moor to undertake practical survey of frogs & toads using egg search & net search.
