Details

Buttershaw St Paul’s Amateur Operatic & Dramatic Society, one of Bradford’s leading theatre groups make a welcome return to the restored St George’s Hall for their next production, Made in Dagenham.

Made in Dagenham, an uplifting musical comedy adapted from the hit movie of the same name, is based around the 1968 sewing machinists strike at the Ford plant in Essex which was influential in the passing of the Equal Pay Act in 1970. Inspired by a true story about friendship, love and the importance of fighting for what is right, it is funny, touching and timeless. Made in Dagenham shows how ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they stand together.

With a strong cast, great music and strong storyline, this full scale and powerful show is sure to delight audiences at the newly refurbished venue. SUPPORT THE WOMEN at St George’s Hall in Bradford!
