Details

In Gallery in the Mill at Bradford Industrial Museum, The Peace Museum presents A Flawed Peace? an exhibition exploring post-war peace marking the First World War Centenary.

The exhibition focuses on both heritage of the war and heritage of the peace. A Flawed Peace? examines the question of whether the post-war peace after the First World War was flawed and will explore the kind of peace that was agreed. It looks at perspectives from different nations, peace groups and individuals.

As well as objects on loan from The Peace Museum, such as a copy of The Treaty of Versailles, the exhibition includes objects from Bradford Museums and Galleries' own collection.

A Flawed Peace? was supported by a National Lottery grant awarded through the Heritage Lottery Fund's First World War Then and Now programme.

The Peace Museum, based in Bradford, explores the history and often untold stories peace, peacemakers and peace movements. This independent charity museum is unique as the UK's only Accredited museum dedicated to peace. Please visit their website to find out more: https://peacemuseum.org.uk/
