Details
Mark Harrison has, in his own words "been playing for ages and not very long." A few years ago, after a lengthy lay off, he started playing again. For Mark it is all about the Blues "pretty much the only kind of music that had stood the test of time."
Mark's first album, Watching The Parade, was released in 2010. Since then he has put out a further four albums all with his National guitar playing at the heart.
Mark's band features Charles Benfield on double bass and vocals along with Ben Welburn on drums and percussion. To quote Mark again - "I'm fortunate enough to play with the best musicians you could find anywhere. And although the lead instrument is a National or a 12-string guitar, as a band we have every bit as much punch, power and volume, as any electric band."
Should be a great night!
"He plays beautifully and writes songs that both move the listener and produce a wry smile...he creates a bond between singer and audience that is rare in this day and age" - Music News
