Rama and Sita Heads: new additions to the permanent gallery.

Rama and Sita are the hero and heroine of the Hindu epic the Ramayana. They are seen as the embodiment of virtue, courage and endurance. In fact, the Ramayana is often seen as providing the ethical and moral code for Hindus. Sculpted larger than life size and perched on pillars they have a presence and demonstrate the age old skills and mastery of Indian artisans that are still practiced in India today.
