We Are West Yorkshire: A Celebration of people and place

We Art West Yorkshire brings together five new exhibitions from the county’s local authority museums. Each exhibition celebrates some of the different qualities that make West Yorkshire so unique, as well as showcasing the amazing richness and variety of our museum collections.

Castleford will look at the history and impact of Rugby League – the sport which was born in West Yorkshire.

Halifax will bring together some amazing art inspired by our county.

Huddersfield will explore the lives of women from the region up until 1918.

Leeds will showcase the stories and experiences of migrants to the city throughout history.

We hope you will enjoy exploring this kaleidoscopic tribute to our county.
