Five Rise Locks Hotel Exterior

About

Named after the nearby historic locks on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal the hotel is a Victorian stone house tucked away in a leafy, tranquil area, but close to main roads and transport links. It offers good views, individual decor, informal style, interesting artworks. Food is good quality and of excellent value.

Service - from the proprietors themselves - is personal and warm without being suffocating. In short, it's the antithesis of those large, impersonal, chain hotels which tend to look and feel the same whether you're in Bradford or Buffalo.

We are ideally placed for visiting Saltaire, Haworth and Bronte Country, the cities of Leeds and Bradford, Harrogate, the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, Bolton Abbey, Ilkley Moor and Skipton.

Check in after 14:00; check out by 11:00. If you plan to arrive after 22:30 please let us know.
