About

In 1987, the legendary Bourbon Room in West Hollywood embodies the gritty heart of the Sunset Strip. Led by laid-back impresario Dennis Dupree and his cheeky assistant Lonny, the once-thriving music venue faces demolition threats from scheming developers. When aspiring actress Sherrie crosses paths with dreamer busboy Drew, a romance unfolds amidst the chaos. To save the Bourbon Room, Dennis enlists rock icon Stacee Jaxx for a farewell show, but Stacee's colossal ego wreaks havoc. Amid anti-demolition protests, Sherrie seeks refuge in a strip club, and Drew falls into the clutches of a boy band. Can Lonny, the "dramatic conjurer," rescue the iconic venue and its entangled relationships? "Rock of Ages" is a vibrant homage to classic rock, featuring '80s hits like "We Built this City," "I Wanna Rock," and "Don't Stop Believin'."
