Guided Walk - Around Reva Hill at Cross Roads Menston
The walk is suitable for most reasonably fit occasional walkers, with the initial level start soon giving way to a much more strenuous section of 1 mile (1.6km) uphill onto the eastern fringe of Hawkesworth Moor. Before starting a steady descent onto pasture land with more occasional short section of narrow busy country roads, as you pass the landmarks of Reva Reservoir, the quarried landscape of Odda Hill and the clock tower of the former High Royds Hospital.
Strong footwear along with outdoor clothing to suit the season is recommended. This walk is not suitbale for people with wheelchairs, pushchairs and people with limited mobility.
