About

Rough, brooding moorland surrounds the charming village of Haworth, made famous by its former residents, the Brontës.

Haworth is home to the Brontë Parsonage Museum, where visitors can step into the world of the literary sisters behind Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (KWVR) also stops in the village, offering a heritage steam train experience through stunning countryside between Keighley and Oxenhope. Whether exploring historic sites, browsing unique shops, or dining in cosy restaurants, Haworth provides the perfect balance of culture and countryside escape.

The village hosts an exciting events calendar, including its enchanting Victorian Christmas celebrations, the quirky Steampunk Weekends, and KWVR’s own seasonal events that bring railway heritage to life with interactive experiences. Enjoy the famous Haworth Haddock, where a steam train ride leads to a lively evening of fish and chips, music, and dancing, or take part in the KWVR Beer & Music Weekend, where craft ales and live performances turn the railway stations into a festival of fun. During the summer, visitors can also enjoy Bandstand Concerts in Central Park, where live music fills the air in one of Haworth’s most beautiful green spaces.

For those arriving by car, parking is available in the Brontë Parsonage car park and Weavers Hill car park, which are council-owned and operate a non-clamping policy.
