The National Media Museum is a lively, interactive, family friendly institution designed to emerge and enlighten visitors to the world of film, photography and television.
Boasting a collection of over 3.5 million items of historical significance, the Museum features regular exhibitions aimed with engaging visitors into the art and science behind the still and moving image. Alongside this, we have a number of permanent galleries showcasing items such as the first movie camera and photographic negative and three cinema screens showcasing classic and exciting new movies.
