Picturehouse at National Media Museum,
National Media Museum,
Little Horton Lane,
The National Media Museum and Picturehouse Cinemas bring you the best in film from around the world in the Museum’s beloved screens: Pictureville, described by Lord Puttnam as “the best cinema in the world”, the cosy Cubby Broccoli cinema – named after the famous James Bond producer - and Europe’s very first IMAX screen, now with a brand-new digital projection system and improved seating.
This partnership ensures the long-term sustainability of our cinemas here in Bradford – UNESCO's first City of Film. It also means more great films on the date of release, more special events such as Q&A’s and all the popular Picturehouse strands: Big Scream club for parents and guardians with babies under one year old; Culture Shock, dedicated to the best in cult and genre films; E4 Slackers Club, a monthly free preview or classic screening for students only; MUBI’s Discover Tuesdays, stunning independent titles; Picturehouse Docs, fascinating documentaries from around the world; Screen Arts, live theatre, opera and ballet; Silver Screen club for over 60s; and Vintage Sundays, classics back on the big screen.
Our telephone lines are open from 9.00am to 8.30pm, seven days a week. Please call 0871 902 5756 (calls cost 13p per minute plus your telephone company's access charge).
