Details

A unique, multi-sensory, inflatable art installation by local artist Sarah Jane Palmer, children from Martin House Children’s Hospice and nine schools across the region, including two from the Bradford District – Eldwick and Farnham.

Commissioned to celebrate 30 years of Martin House caring for children and families with serious illnesses, the inflatable pod incorporates designs of butterflies – the universal symbol of the children’s palliative care movement – and the House Martin – an important symbol for Martin House.

Bringing it all together is an animated butterfly, created with all 300 frames, designed by children from primary schools across the region.
