One of the nation's favourite authors, Jacqueline Wilson visits Haworth to read from and talk about her work. Jacqueline Wilson has written over one hundred books, creating enduring characters such as the famous Tracy Beaker. Her books have won numerous prizes and in 2002 she was awarded an OBE for services to literacy in schools and in 2008 became Dame Jacqueline Wilson. Jacqueline Wilson is also a great admirer of Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre and is working with the Bronte Society as an Ambassador for Charlotte during 2016.
