Over the weekend of April 25th - 27th canal boat trips will once again be available for visitors to Saltaire's World Heritage Site. Traditional Narrowboat Lizzie-Jean will be returning to provide hour-long trips on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal starting and ending at Saltaire Bridge. Lizzie-Jean can carry up to 8 passengers and refreshments will be available on board. Trips cost: £6 adults, £5 children/concessions, Family ticket £20 (4 people)
Two trips will be available:
Saltaire Bridge through Shipley as far as the end of the former Bradford Canal and return to Saltaire;
Saltaire Bridge to Hirst Wood and return, passing up and down through Hirst Lock.
The last time Lizzie-Jean was in Saltaire, for the Saltaire Festival, these trips sold out fast - so you're advised to contact the skipper and book your places soon.
