Backcountry is amongst the top five specialist boot fitting shops in the UK. Our service includes foot measuring, custom footbed making, boot stretching and a unique boot fit gurantee.

We have a friendly active staff with a good knowledge of UK hillwalking, backpacking and climbing. If you are more adventurous we also have lots of experience in international trekking, mountaneering and ski touring.

Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Sundays. Open on a Sunday from mid October to early March 10am - 4pm. Normal opening times are Mon - Sat 10am - 5.30pm.
