NYE 2016

Happy New Year

Ideas for ringing in the new year in style!

Family New Year's Eve

If you're spending New Year's Eve with little ones, why not catch an afternoon matinee of Peter Pan at the Alhambra Theatre.  Drop in at the National Media Museum transform your sight and explore the world in fantastic colour 'Spectacular Specs' or enjoy a morning family skate at Bradford Ice Arena.

Go to the Cinema

Berlin Philharmonic New Year's Eve Gala at the Media Museum Picturehouse.  Bid farewell to 2016 with a glamorous NYE concert from the Berliner Philharmoniker. Young virtuoso Daniil Trifonov performs one of the most difficult piano concertos ever written.

Sing-along with Anna & Elsa in Frozen, experience the magic of Frozen in an interactive sing-along style at the Ilkley Cinema.

Enjoy Dinner and a Show

Many of the Bradford district hotels celebrate New Year's Eve with a dinner and show.  Join the New Year's Gala Dinner Dance at the Midland Hotel or Bradford Hotel for a 5 course meal and live entertainment from Summer Dreaming, a 50s tribute.  Step into a world of Fire & Ice New Year Family party at the Cedar Court

Go clubbing or celebrate at a cosy pub or bar

The Bradford district is part of the real ale revolution and has an abundance of real ale bars and craft beer houses. Recently a number of new bars have come to Bradford with North Parade currently being the place to be.

Looking for something a little bit different...head to the Sunbridge Wells tunnels for an extraordinary night out at the Alibi Champagne Lounge, Laurel & Hardy Multimedia Bar, Wallers Brewery, the Gin Bar, Sunbridge Lounge and much more... ! Meanwhile for clubs & parties seek out the West End area of Bradford, behind the Alhambra Theatre.

Out of the city you will find The Hop and the Cap and Collar in Saltaire, The Potting Shed and Martinez Wine Bar in Bingley, The Black Hat and The Flying Duck in Ilkley. Keighley and Haworth has a large number of real ale pubs such as The Lord Rodney and you can download the Real Ale Trail if you want to sample a selection.
