On Sunday 10th July Jumble & Pearls from London return to The Old School Room Haworth, for their latest pop up fair.
The series of events planned to run during #Bronte200 #Bicentenary of Charlotte Bronte, an inspiring place of heritage, situated between Haworth Parish Church and The Bronte Parsonage Museum. The Old School Room is the only building built by, and taught at, by all the Bronte family.
The free entry fairs will be hosted on Sunday 10th July, 4th September and 6th November at the new opening time of 11am until 5pm. What to expect at any Jumble and Pearls event? Tea rooms, lounge music, an array of stalls selling anything and everything. "It's not just vintage or retro events for women, we have a showcase of local designers, artists, collectors etc we are targeting the entire so there's something for everyone" says organiser.
ANNIE AND MOE is created with love, vintage Inspired and made in Yorkshire! A collection of all things gorgeous to be worn, used, treasured and given as unique gifts. Jeanette Hollindrake, the designer and maker of Annie and Moe's goodies is a local lass, born and bred in Keighley. “Sewing is in her genes. My great grandma was a tailor in the 1920's to 70's and Mum an avid dressmaker.” Jeanette grew up wearing dresses made from curtains and tablecloths, which is where her obsession with vintage sewing patterns and her passion for reproduction vintage clothing and up cycling vintage fabrics was born. Expect to see a collection of decorative pillows, bags & purses, Clothing and accessories…We are super happy that Annie and Moe will be making their debut at Jumble and Pearls in July.
GRIFFITHS VINTAGE EMPORIUM is father and daughter-in-law duo from Harrogate who sell all kinds of wonderful vintage and retro. If you are looking for anything specific just let them know and they will try hunt it down for you! Sounds good? Jumble and Pearls welcome another newbie to family. Griffiths Vintage Emporium will be introducing their colourful vintage and retro homeware and kitchenalia. Featuring all sorts of beauties including vintage cameras and soda syphons upcycled to unique lamps!! Wow we cannot wait to see for ourselves! Shamilla says “We try to pick up pieces that are in superb condition and unique ”
AH JEWELLERY is the talented Ami Hallgarth from Sowerby Bridge. It’s their debut at Jumble and Pearls, and we are mega excited, have you seen her collection? Ami’s creates bespoke jewellery in various shapes and sculptural forms, mainly inspired by art and experimenting creatively in the workshop. AH Jewellery collections include hoops, domes, shapes and textured components. Many pieces feature contrasting elements, such as copper, brass and gemstones. Ami enjoys the challenge of creating pieces that can be worn in more than one way. Her range include pendants, rings, earrings, bracelets, cufflinks and brooches, as well as personalised handstamped pieces. AH Jewellery will be selling a range of sterling silver shiny goodies at the fair, including necklaces, studs, earrings, bangles and rings, alongside hand stamped key rings plus a special “£5 and under” bargain box of treasures.
THREE HOLLIES from Halifax return to Jumble and Pearls in Haworth. They believe that there are plenty of interesting, well loved and individual items out there going to waste.
