St Leonard's Farm Park
Join farmer James and his family at St Leonard's Farm Park. The farm has lots of different animals, some of which you can feed. Let the kids loose on the popular straw playbarn, explore one of the nature trails and enjoy a tractor ride (selected dates in school holidays).
Ilkley Lido
When the temperature rises take the family to Ilkley Lido, one of the only Lido's in Yorkshire. There's plenty to keep the kids entertained as there's also tennis courts, putting and an indoor pool.

Harry Potter Week
Celebrate the final installment of Harry Potter, showing on Yorkshire's only IMAX screen this summer, with a range of activities on offer. Be a part of the Museum's 2011 Hogwarts yearbook, hear magical stories of witchcraft and unlock the secrets of special effects in films.

Saltaire
Saltaire is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a beautiful village set next to the Leeds Liverpool Canal. Take the family on a canal boat trip or have a picnic in Roberts Park. Salts Mill is home to one of the largest collections of David Hockney's work as well as cafes and shops. Salts Walks also offer a fun guided walk around the village (every Saturday meet outside Magic Number Three, 2pm).
Ilkley Summer Festival
The Ilkley Summer Festival is a month long celebration of summer. Events include live music, theatre, children's activities and guided walks.
There will also be a Continental Market on the 5th August for three days.

Nature events at Bracken Hall Countryside Centre
Visit Bracken Hall Countryside Centre this summer and join in the fun workshops and hands-on activities. Learn more about nature, animals and the environment.

Bradford Industrial Museum
Bradford Industrial Museum is a fantastic free day out. Learn more about Bradford's industrial past, explore the Mill worker's cottages and meet the team of working horses!
Keighley & Worth Valley Railway
Jump on board a steam train and discover Bronte Country and see the location used in the 1970s classic film The Railway Children. Children will love the railway and there's plenty to see along the way. Get off at Keighley for East Riddlesden Hall a National Trust property or Cliffe Castle a free museum full of curiosities including stuffed animals, antiques and a bee hive! Make sure you stop off in Haworth for Main Street, which is full of cafes and interesting shops.
