Ilkley Events

Throughout the year there are events in Ilkley for all ages and tastes. One of the highlights is the Ilkley Summer Festival during the month of August. Concerts, performances, markets and family events make this an ideal time to visit Ilkley . There's also a varied programme of concerts and theatre at the Kings Hall.

In October celebrities from the worlds of entertainment and literature descend on Ilkley for the Ilkley Literature Festival for two weeks of authors' events, readings, performances and workshops.

There also lots of guided walks throughout the year. Ilkley is a Walkers are Welcome town and welcomes walkers with its beautiful countryside, excellent pathways and walker friendly businesses. Also not to be missed is the programme of heritage walks run by the Ilkley Civic Society.
