The Dales Way is a long distance footpath of about 80 miles (129km) that starts from Ilkley and finishes in Bowness-on-Windermere. The route follows as far as possble riverside paths and offers a scenically attractive route from West Yorkshire to the Lake District.

Walkers are Welcome
Ilkley is a Walkers are Welcome town and is committed to welcoming walkers. Several properties are inspected under Quality in Tourism's Walkers Welcome accommodation inspection scheme, which indicates properties that have services aimed at walkers e.g. drying rooms, packed lunches proviced.

Pickersgill Manor Farm is a four star, silver award bed and breakfast on Silsden Moor about 5 miles from the start of The Dalesway.
Car Parking
We have lots of off road parking, you are welcome to leave your vehicle for the duration of the walk and collect when you finish. (Vehicles are left at your own risk).
Pick up/Bag Collection
Collection from Ilkley or Steeton train station or bus from Silsden or Ilkley. We can drop off so you can start your walk from Ilkley.
Services
If your bags are being collected we can keep them secure until they are collected. I do offer a tray supper, homemade and traditional, main, dessert and a drink, £12.50 per person.
Packed lunch £6.50 per person.
Washer and drying available.
