Haworth and Brontë Country Days Out
Jump on board a steam train on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and discover an abundance of things to do for all ages and interests. Start off in Keighley where you'll find Cliffe Castle Museum and the National Trust's East Riddlesden Hall. Both are full of fascinating treasures and do be sure to visit East Riddlesden Hall's garden. There's also lots of transport museums including the Keighley Bus Museum, the Ingrow Museum of Rail Travel and the Ingrow Loco.
In Haworth there's the Brontë Parsonage Museum, once home to the Brontë's and now a museum dedicated to their lives and work. You'll find the house preserved as it would have been in the Brontës time as well as a changing programme of exhibitions.

Houses and Gardens
East Riddlesden Hall in Keighley is a National Trust property with award-winning gardens. This 17th century manor house has an impressive past as well as exquisite embroideries and oak furniture. Nearby is Cliffe Castle, a museum with period rooms, exhibitions and natural history. The Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth was once the Brontë's family home and is now a museum dedicated to their work and lives.
Transport Museums
Brontë Country not only has steam trains but vintage buses too. The Keighley Bus Museum has a collection of over 50 buses, coaches and ancillary vehicles. Next stop on the line is Ingrow West and the Ingrow Museum of Rail Travel and the Ingrow Loco Museum. The Museum of Rail Travel is full of carriages used in famous films and TV programmes.
Culture
For a night at the cinema visit the Keighley Picture House. The building is in a distinctive Art Deco style and opened in 1913. Today there are two screens showing the latest block busters and independent films. Nearby is the Keighley Playhouse which has a varied programme of productions. Look out for the cultural events held throughout the year.

Relax, enjoy a picnic, a family day out or a short stroll in one of Brontë Country's beautiful parks and green spaces.
