There are two ways to see the Railway Children locations.
1. Railway Children Walk
The first way is to follow the self-guided Railway Children Walk a 6 mile walk to Oxenhope and Oakworth starting in Haworth. If this is too much there is a shorter walk of 2 miles to Oakworth. Download the Railway Children Walk or pick up a copy at Haworth Station.
2. Take the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway
Depart Haworth for Oxenhope.
Take time to explore Haworth, in particular Main Street where you will see several locations used in the film. You can then take the train to Oxenhope. Here you can see Bents House (The Three Chimneys) and Perks stile.
Why not have lunch in Oxenhope or take time to stroll round the village.
Depart Oxenhope for Oakworth
Oakworth Station was seen throughout the film and and was the workplace of 'Perks' the station porter. Located across the level crossing from Oakworth Station was the home of 'Mr Perks'. Nearby is Mytholmes Tunnel and Embankment where the children waved their red petticoats at the train driver to warn of danger.
Depart Oakworth for Haworth
or Ingrow West for the Ingrow Museum of Rail Travel and Ingrow Loco
